Wish I read this years ago

Both of Alan's books (Trade My Way and Active Investing) have changed my views on how to manage my portfolio. Over the last decade I've see huge gains and losses in my mutual funds all managed by my broker. When I'm winning, brokers and fund managers make money. When I'm losing, brokers and fund managers make money. Alain made it very clear it's easy to manage your money by following a basic set of rules.
After reading the book, more than once, I took the plunge with a modest sum of money. Yes I had to buy software to help analyze the trends, but it has worked out extremely well for me. Today I have moved 90% of my money out from my broker and am managing it myself.
Only one regret. I didn't read his book earlier.
